While it may in fact be very important that you have dog training for your new puppy, it should not be something that costs and arm and a paw so to speak. Many of the large chain pet stores today actually have some great weekend puppy training classes that they offer in store. This is great for those that just want the basics covered, and are not willing to break the bank on training.

Easy On The Dog

Dog training for puppies should be something that is not only educational for the little dog; it needs to be fun as well. This will help keep the dog interested in what is going on, if you can manage to make things fun for them. Little games and social breaks for some sniffing and chasing, will allow you to have a small dog that is focused when it is time to learn. Knowing that puppies have short attention spans will help you keep things on the short side, and this will benefit all involved.
